The Walpole Unitarian Church recognizes individual freedoms, embraces diversity, and supports the development of a caring community.

Welcome!

We're glad you found us. The Walpole Unitarian Church is a growing congregation of people who have been committed and involved in the church for decades, as well as newcomers just entering our community. Our Unitarian history is long and steeped in the liberal religious tradition. We celebrate the individual spiritual journey and the learning that happens in community. We welcome people young and old, families and singles, gay and straight, people of varied backgrounds and beliefs, interests and talents. Worship is important to our community. Worship reminds us who we are, where we come from, how we want to live, and the ways we can give to our community and the larger world.

Our worship services are held every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Main and Union Streets in Walpole, New Hampshire.

Children and adults gather together for the first part of each service. About twenty minutes into the service, children move to their workshops in our religious education program. Children of all ages are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary for worship. Our philosophy of Religious Education emphasizes that religious growth is the work of our spiritual community and intentionally supports a lifelong quest for meaning and inclusive practice.

Through exploring Unitarian Universalist heritage and world religions, sharing experiences and beliefs, developing song and ritual, and engaging in social action, we create opportunities for a whole and conscious life.
Like most Unitarian Universalist congregations, the Walpole Unitarian Church is a spiritually diverse community. The beliefs, spirituality and religious heritage of our members span the spectrum – some of us grew up in Christian or other traditions, and some of us have been UU’s all our lives.

We celebrate and believe that there is no single religious truth and that life is a spiritual journey with ourselves and in community that unfolds and changes. We hope you can visit the Walpole Unitarian Church where you will find a community of open minds and loving hearts that would welcome your presence.

Blessings,
